Bud & Marilyn’s

Bud & Marilyn’s, named for chef Marcie Turney’s grandparents, exude homey warmth. Caricatures of these two people decorate the walls, and their spirit pervades every aspect of this cozy environment–from pickled vegetables in jars to mounds of kohlrabi slaw on top of kielbasa (with its combination of smooth porkiness and snappy snap).

Turney and Safran have been instrumental in revitalizing 13th Street through their restaurants and boutiques; bringing comfort, memoir and solid Midwestern cuisine into the neighborhood through their establishments.
